One-room facility configuration

This facility is a complex consisting of a library and a lifelong learning facility located in a lush green environment facing the Inuomaru River flowing through Chitsui Chuo. The intention is to create a building that centers on the library, where people can meet each other and spend time in their own way, like the “Mannaibi no Yakata” (House of Learning).

A "loop of learning" where users can freely move around

The one-room facility, with a large opening at the north end covered by a large roof, is designed to allow users to freely explore the space, centered on the browsing space “Manabi no An,” while feeling close to the rich local culture.
