Universiade main venue

This is a multi-purpose stadium that serves as the main venue for the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade. After the Beijing Olympics in 2008, the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, and the Guangzhou Asian Games, this is the ideal space for a national event to be held.

Architecture that coexists with subtropical climates

The planned site is located in a beautiful natural environment with a tropical coastline and dense mangrove forests. However, during the summer, it is prone to intense heat and strong storms. In response to these harsh climatic conditions, we have devised a design that seamlessly connects the interior and exterior to ensure breathability.

A space like a park open to the city

To create diverse interactions, we have integrated the main spaces such as the stadium into a continuous whole. We have created a promenade at the outer edge, creating a space that not only serves as an event like the Universiade, but also serves as a park where people can visit on a daily basis.
